Louisiana School Forces Pregnancy Tests In the article linked above, the New Delhi Charter school is spot lighted for a blatantly discriminatory policy against young girls. The New Delhi school in Louisiana forces the female student body to take a pregnancy test if the faculty suspects they are pregnant. If the test results are positive they can send them to a doctor of the schools choice. This is not only illegal under the Education Amendment of 1972 but is a direct violation of the fourteenth amendment’s due process clause. It’s nothing new to see stores and shops closed because they had to go out of business.  It has been happening for three or four years now.  But, when a pizza shop that delivers goes under or is sold because it’s just not making enough money there is something wrong.  The analysts say that the economy is recovering and jobs are getting created.  These same people sit in the offices or home offices not worrying about their next meal or if the lights will be on tomorrow. Welcome to Raven Speaks.  This is a new site that will feature Editorials, Articles, and Short Stories from myself (Raven) and other staff authors.  I am hoping to make this a new online magazine that is built on integrity.  It will touch on things that are are near and dear to the “common” person, i.e. the 99%, as well as national, political, and some world issues.  There will be some social network commentary and social commentary brought by some good old fashioned leg work.  I hope you enjoy and check back often to see what’s new.
